We simply had to be there during our Russian friend's first trip to England. He was working in London for a few days, so we decided to pop over the channel and see him.
It was the first time I'd been to Borough Market, and I found it rather enjoyable (top picture). There was far too much delicious-looking food and drink to mention, but a highlight was a stand selling fresh Pimms which we drank while slowly wandering around.
After making a (somewhat late-night) booking at a Peruvian restaurant in Soho called "Ceviche", we were hopeful it would provide us with a genuinely tasty version of the title dish, and provide us wth an opportunity to wash it down with that other Peruvian staple favourite of ours, the Pisco Sour. Thankfully, we were not disappointed and the restaurant lived up to it's name and reputation, allowing us to feast on tasty food with a distinctively South-American vibe. Highly recommended.
